How did I end up working on this project?
During my internship at NTD News, I actively contributed to various aspects of the organization's programming. In particular, I served as an assistant producer and assistant director for the California Today show for a duration of six weeks, spanning from April to May. The project underwent restructuring due to a change in hosting preferences, prompting its relocation to another office. However, this experience ignited my passion for producing and directing within the media landscape.
What is “The Reel Generation Gap”?
I enthusiastically accepted the opportunity to participate in a new project centered around reviewing movies and series. The initial concept evolved into "The Reel Generation Gap," featuring a dynamic duo offering perspectives from different age demographics. Throughout my involvement from August until the culmination of my internship in January, I played a pivotal role in various capacities:
What I did do when working for show?
Firstly, I contributed to the production process by generating innovative ideas and facilitating improvements within the show's framework. On set, I assumed responsibilities such as controlling the teleprompter and coordinating the presentation of visual content on the TV screen, including images, clips from movies, and B-roll footage. Additionally, I undertook the management of social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok, as well as overseeing content dissemination on Spotify. I also made some of the Thumbnails for YouTube.
